RESIDENTIAL DROP-OFF

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 11:30am & 12:30pm – 3:00pm
Saturday:  7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Sunday:  Closed

Rules:

• Limit of 7 bags/containers per visit
  
• Household garbage only
  
• Towns of Perinton and Macedon residents only (sticker available at respective town hall locations for preferred pricing arrangements)

RECYCLABLE MATERIALS ACCEPTED

Clean Paper Materials:

• Newspapers & inserts
  
• Junk mail & office paper
  
• Magazines & catalogs
  
• Cardboard & clean empty pizza boxes (flatten, pieces no larger than 2 x 4 feet)
• Phone directories & all books
  
• Paper boxes - cereal, cracker, pasta, tissue, shoe, gift, etc. (discard plastic liner and flatten)

Clean Containers:

• Metal cans - lids are accepted
  
• Aerosol cans - no paints or pesticides
  
• Drink boxes - straw removed
  
• Glass bottles & jars - green, brown & clear only
  
• Plastic bottles & jars - 1 & 2 only
  
• “Gable top” containers (milk)
  

Scrap Steel (excluding automobiles)

Please refrain from the following:

• NO refrigerators, air conditioners, de-humidifiers, freezers (CFC containing devices)
  
• NO lead acid batteries
  
• NO whole tires
  
• NO medical waste, hazardous materials, flammable materials, explosives, pesticides, herbicides
  
• NO paints or liquids
  
• NO gas cylinders (propane tanks)
